If you're into crypto for more than one year then you remember John McAffee famous "dick eating prediction". If you're not, here it is:
When I predicted Bitcoin at $500,000 by the end of 2020, it used a model that predicted $5,000 at the end of 2017. BTC has accelerated much faster than my model assumptions. I now predict Bitcoin at $1 million by the end of 2020. I will still eat my dick if wrong.
Obviously, John McAffee is a popular figure nowadays. And obviously, his prediction sparked a lot of talks, speculations and, lately, even online projects that are trying to keep you updated with the facts.
The most interesting one, by far, is the one called dickline.info. Hopefully by now you understand better the significance of the "dick line" name: it's actually a line which says on which side of it you can find McAffee's dick. And if it's still attached to McAffee, that is.
As you can see from the screenshot above, at the moment of writing, the prediction is in a rather bad shape. It's down almost an order of magnitude: 89.51% below the target. But let's not get sad about it and look at the bright side.
And the bright side is that you can make your own Bitcoin prediction and use the site charts to see where you stand. As a matter of fact, the site hosts as right now another public prediction, Jim Draper's one, which stated that Bitcoin will be $250,000 by 2022. And you can see that he is, obviously, closer to its target than McAffee.
So, what's your prediction? And, more importantly, how's your graph looking?
