What I'm about to explain is probably the most controversial topic in all of cryptocurrency. It has more to do with the following two charts than you may think. And that's total market capitalization and where it is most likely going.

This chart shows total market capitalization of altcoins and bitcoin I'm sure a lot of you have probably already seen.
Something very interesting happens when you turn it upside down though. The red Line becomes the next Fork day/period of time
The chart is showing us something we probably don't want to see. *Bitcoin will be regaining a large majority of total market cap back. But the question is, what even could possibly force the Bitcoin trend to follow the blue line down(which would technically increase capitalization)? Altcoins have dropped significantly in the past months, many of which have done about 100% retraces from previous cycles. Yet the gap still exists, even with the biggest decision point in Bitcoin's history looming.
The truth is there is only one thing that could change the chart to coincide with news(because as they say - a chart is going to do what it's going to do, and the news only confirms it)
The Bitcoin consensus, at least in largest hashrate, longest chain, highest value, etc. would move to Bitcoin Cash. And the only party to disagree with this would be the twitter consensus.
There's a lot more I'd like to say but don't want to come off as a conspiracy theorist and scare you away from what I consider to be one of the biggest controversies that will take place in our life time.
