Crypto currency, it's an interesting concept to grasp if you are the average person. Being that you are reading this post on Steemit we imagine that you are already (at least somewhat) familiar with the future of crypto. However, it is still easy to underestimate the impact that these new concepts will bring to our lives.
Unless you design the block chain yourself, when words such as "block chain" and "crypto currency" start getting tossed around in conversation, it is easy to get lost. Although it may be confusing sometimes, we firmly believe that you should be well aware of the world and progress going on around you.
Being that we are far from expert about this topic, let us make one thing clear from the get go; we are not here to give you investment advice. Instead, we are writing this article merely to acknowledge that digital currency has it's place in the future.
What you choose to do with that information is entirely up to you.
Digital currencies still scare the public because, unlike the traditional stock market, the investments are volatile. The media takes these turbulent swings and paints them as huge losses for investors.
For example this week Bitcoin peaked at $11,000.00. Flooded with new interested investors, the price then spiraled back down to $9,000.00 in 24 hours. The media acted as if those who had invested at the $11,000.00 mark had lost it all.
They haven't.
At the time of this article, Bitcoin has already soared back up to almost $11,000.00 and may continue to climb on this crazy roller coasters of digital currency.
For now, digital currencies will continue to fluctuate; however, that does not mean that they are illegitimate investments.
If you open your eyes and look ahead towards the future being built for us, you will find that the block chain in central to almost everything. Progress waits for no one and we believe it was high time that more people became aware of the validity of digital currencies and the block chain.
Awareness of Bitcoin, crypto currency and block chain technology has certainly grown; however many people don't understand the impact it is having have on our lives. Look past the crazy markets and do a little research as to what governments, major corporations and wealthy investors have begun to build with these new concepts and technologies.
Even if you don't invest, you should be aware of the world around you.
