With all the news of Bitcoin as of late, and an apparent price surge that is lurking; with newer investors taking a stab at this crypto... I just wonder to myself how do you think Brick and Mortar Retail will attack and use Bitcoin.
I'm talking about gas stations, grocery stores and maybe even the local bar.
Now you may just say, "Well that's easy! Just use BitPay!" I guess I'm going a bit farther with my thoughts on this....
Stores use pricing to market to consumers, making things easily valued at a certain price. Until Bitcoin becomes somewhat stable in terms of price point I don't see typical retail picking up this kind of payment.... Yet.
Something that is 0.15 BTC one day may be 0.17 BTC the next... Or 0.13 BTC the day after. I get that we could have credit cards loaded with BTC or ETH.
How do you ELI5 to someone not tech savvy that because BTC is fud today, you paid more BTC for your gas or groceries, but the value is the same.
Don't get me wrong I'm in no way bashing BTC.People who are in to BTC, understand the market.
