Internet of Coins is a project to interlink all digital forms of value. It’s a decentralized financial web.
The project started at Stormwind in 2013. It was a crypto trading system and hybrid assets available on NXT and XCP. The inception of Internet of Coins came about in 2014 after the collapse of Mt. Gox highlighted the need for a full decentralized exchange system.
The team did not start with a fundraiser as it wanted to deliver a ripened technological infrastructure. It received support from Bitalo, a Finnish bitcoin service provider.
Internet of Coins interlinks all digital forms of value and allows you to trade digital assets and currencies P2P with an easy to use interface. Participants can earn fees as allocators.
The current cryptocurrency world is fragmented and at risk of becoming financially and politically centralized. Internet of Coins is designed to support all cryptocurrencies.
It works by using an interconnectivity platform with a node-to-node system called hybridd. Ingoing and outgoing data flows are synchronized by way of a scalable data chain, an innovation by Internet of Coins called weavechain.
Existing wallets need no changes or adaptations to integrate into Internet of Coin’s autonomous decentralized network.
In its crowdfund Internet of Coins raised $3 million. I'm still trying to figure out where you can get HYBRID tokens, they don't seem to be trading yet.
An Internet of Coins wallet will be released in 2018 (1st quarter target) and users will be able to manage their HYBRID tokens on a user-friendly app.
