There's Bitcoin in them hills!!!
My family and I are currently in Nagano prefecture, Japan, staying with my wife's parents for お正月 (Oshougatsu), the New Year's holiday in Japan.
People gathered at Zenkoji Buddhist Temple, Nagano City, on New Year's Day.
New Year's Eve and Day are a big deal in Japan. Unlike in the United States, the holiday is not so much about getting smashed with friends a parties, but about spiritual renewal, quietly eating New Year's soba on New Year's Eve, and visiting shrines and temples for purification and the burning of the past year's fortunes. I am all for this. I am also for my fortune including some shiny coins in old castle ruins! Fuckin' A!

Tatsuoka Castle
Some super cool Takara user chose this location at which to drop a Bitcoin gem. I answered the security question, which pertained to the place name, and bam! 400-and-some Yen richer!
