If you are not aware Feathercoin is one of the oldest actively developed open source cryptocurrencies. With Feathercoin, founder Peter Bushnell wanted to create a “lighter than light” coin that could be widely used for everyday payments. It was initially derived from Litecoin, which itself is a modified version of Bitcoin.
Feathercoin is based on NeoScrypt, implementing many features not seen in the majority of crypto coins. If i recall correctly it was the first coin to use this algo in times when everything was sha256 or pure scrypt.
