Gamers will soon be able to venture into the virtual world of Decentraland with their Ethermon companion on their side. The team behind Ethermon has partnered with Decentraland development studio Metazone. There's no clear date on when the teams will complete the integration.
Comparable with earlier endeavors by Metazone, land owners will be able to purchase an Ethermon Garden Bed Meta. This enables land owners to grow and sell vegetables for Ethermon. In turn pet owners will be able to feed their pets, grow the social connection and level up.
Currently Decentraland land owners can still buy the 80 Garden Beds available. With every ten sold Garden Beds the price will increase. Currently land owners need to pay 12 thousand MANA, which equals 414 dollars, in order to host a garden.
When the integration launches, only two creatures will be supported within Decentraland: Kyari and Cobrus. Metazone promises that players will be able to enjoy more experiences and gamification in the future. In addition Metazone will integrate more mons as well.
Decentraland and business
Metazone already owns quite a lot of initiatives within Decentraland. The development group is responsible for a variety of games, and their initiatives can be compared with those of Decentral Games. Both studios work to gamify the experience within Decentraland. In addition both allow land owners to install complete installations on their land and make money from it.
Metazone has created all kinds of complete builds for users to buy and use on their virtual land within Decentraland. Currently they are not only selling the Garden Beds, but also complete houses, non-playable characters like bartenders and guards, pay-to-play games, streaming video players, art galleries and so on.
