Currently, the D3 generates about $200-220/Day
That equates to about $6200 per month, or about $72,000 per year. Even if you chop that in half to account for new Miners coming online it's still more than 30k/year!!!
(* so I don't think it's unreasonable to ask for 1 bitcoin)

The Antminer D3 is the latest product by Bitmain, released in 2017. It focuses on X11 mining, an algorithm used by the popular Dash cryptocurrency. With a 15 GH/s hashing power, it consumes 1200w .

Hash rate: 15 GH/s (Variation of ±5% is expected)
Power consumption: 1200W (at the wall, with Bitmain's APW3 PSU, 93% efficiency, 25°C ambient temp).
Dimensions of the miner: 320130190mm

This unit will ship the second I receive it. It won't even come out of the box.
