Looking at the 1 year price chart for BTC, i'm sure many out there are kicking themselves for not buying when prices were under $25k. Now they're selling for $50k and really, the run up has been in the last 5 months.
Alts are unfortunately not coming along for the ride, especially outside the top 20 or so coins. And that got me thinking, having been in three cycles now, BTC is always the winner because everyone cashes out their winnings into BTC.
Projects then die out and the next wave comes along, only for the subsequent winnings to be cashed out into BTC again. Rinse and repeat a couple of times and we get a BTC price that trends up as long as crypto is still around.
Sure, there've been some developments like the Spot ETF being approved but I'm not sure that would have made that much of a difference given how the Futures ETF led to a long downturn.
Personally, i'm trying to stick to 2/3 BTC, 1/3 alts ratio but BTC is far outstripping the other investment with the run up in price.
