There it is ladies and gentlemen, just take a look at those numbers. I still can't quite believe it. Earlier today Bitcoin hit just over $103,000. This means that Bitcoin has today reached not just another new ATH but has now achieved a profoundly significant milestone in its short history. Today the game changes. It's no longer a question of if Bitcoin can hit $1m it's now simply a matter of when.
I know many people didn't need Bitcoin to surpass the $100k mark to know Bitcoin will eventually hit $1m but for me personally I needed a little more convincing, today I have the evidence and confirmation I have long sought. You really can't underestimate the achievement of today's new Bitcoin ATH.
Some are even saying Bitcoin hit $104,000 although this was not recorded on CoinMarketCap or Coinbase. I'm not sure if anyone else saw that figure anywhere but I'll happily take $103k thanks.

What an incredible day for all of us in crypto land. Interestingly the alts started climbing yesterday but then Bitcoin started moving last night and the alts have paused their climb for now. It's as though the daddy coin has to do it's thing so the offspring coins wait, and once daddy coin has done doing it's thing the offspring coins will be free to do their thing.
The relationship between Bitcoin and altcoins is one that is fascinating sometimes. Just look at the pause in the altcoin climb because Bitcoin surged. But do not be disheartened by what the altcoins are doing. Let Bitcoin continue doing what it's doing. The altcoins will have their time in the sun. The party is only just starting.
Even CoinMarketCap had its own little creative applet in the top left corner to celebrate Bitcoin's major accomplishment and I had to share it. Although I can't copy and paste it I have captured some screenshots to give you a flavour.
Ha ha! That's great! So I guess the only question outstanding for us now is when does Bitcoin hit the $200,000 mark? Will we see it in this cycle? Anyone brave enough to say yay or nay?
