Traditional Sportsbooks
I'm a huge sports fan, and I like to gamble a little on the side. Over the past year or two, online sportsbooks have begun accepting (and even prioritizing) bitcoin payments over credit card payments. This is great! It has made it much easier to use, and opens up a huge source of volume for bitcoin. However, I've had one major issue with this. I deposit my bitcoin into the sportsbook, at which time it becomes a USD balance. Then I'm able to cash back out in bitcoin. However, the entire time that my balance is stored on the sportsbook, I'm no longer holding bitcoin. I miss out on any gains in the value of bitcoin. After I make my bitcoin deposit, let's say I have some good success gambling and increase my bankroll by 15% over the course of a few weeks, and then I cash out. During the time that I was gambling, if the price of bitcoin went up by 20%, then I actually lost bitcoin in this whole process. I would have been better off just holding onto it and doing nothing, despite my gambling success. This is why I've switched to Nitrogen Sports

The compounding interest of each separately would have returned just over 16% gains by end of month. One might think you just add them together to get combined returns of 32%. Instead, they compound together, and it's closer to 35%. The exponential nature of this has huge implications long term.
