If you had a balance on Freebitco.in at the time of the hardfork, you als have Bitcoin Cash!
Today I realized that I still had a balance on Freebitco.in at the time Bitcoin hardforked and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) was created. This means that I could claim the same amount I had in BCH.
Freebitco.in advises you withdraw your BCH before August 20th (2017). To do this, simply have a place to store it, such as a BCH wallet or an exchange if you want to trade it right away. On their website, click Withdraw, go to the BCC tab, see if there is some BCH for you ready to be paid out, and enter the address you want to use. That's it!
WARNING: Do NOT withdraw your BCH to a normal Bitcoin wallet!
Doing this will result in losing your funds. I've seen others recommend the Electrum wallet if you want to keep your funds, but I sent it to my account on the HitBTC exchange, because I wasn't keen on another wallet on my pc to keep an eye on. If you don't know where to send it, be sure to research the risks of each storage method.
Be sure to claim yours!
This was a heads up for the ones who happen to be on Freebitco.in. I do not represent Freebitco.in and I'm not related to them. I just thought it would be a shame of you missed out on a large amount of BCH that you didn't know about.
