Dear Global Bitgetters,
Thank you for supporting Bitget! With the recent deluge of various message/email phishing tactics, we recommend that you take the following steps to safeguard your account/assets.
1. Make sure your Bitget and email have different passwords. We strongly recommend that you use passwords with both capital and lower-case letters, numbers (AbCdEfG... 24678...), and special characters (! @#$%^&*) that are at least 8 characters in length.
2. If possible, enable Google 2FA and Anti-Phishing Code on your Bitget account to increase account security.
3. Do not open suspicious links and do not enter passwords or personal information on websites that you cannot verify or try to imitate Bitget to avoid becoming the victim of phishing attempts or viruses. You can use the official verification channel https://www.bitget.com/en/official-verification to ensure the website you're visiting is an official one.
4. For emails, firstly identify whether the email is from Bitget's official mail domain (bitget.com). Bitget does not use any public domain names, such as gmail/hotmail.com. You can use the official verification channel https://www.bitget.com/en/official-verification to check whether it is an official email.
5. Bitget will not ask users to deposit to any wallet address other than the one in your account. If you receive any suspicious messages, please feel free to contact Online Support to confirm the authenticity of the information and avoid being a victim of fraud.
6. Pay attention to the account activity in the Security Center and contact Online Support immediately if you notice any abnormal logins/activity on your account.
7. Bitget officials will not contact you privately to ask for any security information like your account password, asset password, APIKey, Secretkey, Passphrase, or 2FA verification. Please keep yourself safe.
Protect your account and safeguard your assets. As always, have a great trading experience.
Yours Sincerely,
Bitget Security Team
Thank you BITGET
