Just a tldr; STEEM is baded on Graphene which originally was BTS (Bitshares) and GOLOS is based on STEEM.

BTS has decentralized (no KYC/AML and secure) exchanges like OpenLedger.

GOLOS is a russian version of STEEM launched year ago that trades on some exchanges. Sadly native BTS exchange is delisting it.
