I am going to follow @mindhunter's advice from his video about Tips & Tricks For Writing Ideas On Steemit. I wouldn't have remembered to write this post if I didn't write it down in a notebook like he suggested. Additionally, the idea came from his suggestion of writing posts from lessons you have learned because other people are probably wondering how to do the same thing.
Why I Transferred My BTS From Bittrex
I purchased some Peerplays during their ICO and through my research learned share-dropping has become a tradition for BitShares Holders. Peerplays share-dropped 5% of their coins in honor of this tradition to BitShares. I thought to myself "Free coins for using a DAC? I'm transferring my BTS to their network in case this ever happens again!".
Hmmm...How Does This Work?
When I read the BitShares Site in regard to the process of transferring coin, the web page instructed to simply input your account name. I thought to myself, "does this mean the memo field like Steemit or the actual account field?". I was a little hesitant and transferred a minimal amount to confirm.
The Process
- On Bittrex open up your wallet and click the blue (-) tab.
- Input your BitShares account name into the Registered Account Field and Quantity you wish to withdrawal. Click Withdrawal and don't forget to go to your registered email to confirm the withdrawal!
That's It! No Memo. Simply input your account name into the Registered Account field. Easy Peezy Lemon Squeezy. That is my account name in the Register Account field if you feel like throwing some BTS my way. Just saying!
