With the mind blowing numbers that Black Panther is seeing I felt it was only right to re-visit the latest rendition of the Black Panther reading collection. In 2016 Cultural Critic Ta-Nehisi Coates embarked on a jouney of revitalizing one of Marvel's most intriguing characters by releasing a new series for the Black Panther anthology. Selling over 300,000 copies for Issue #1, this set the stage for Black Panther's cinematic debut in Civil War and his own solo movie that is currently shattering all box office expectations. This amateur video post created by me and my 7th grade class in 2016 was geared to anyone who has an interest in reading more about Black Panther and his current standing in the Marvel Universe. Hopefully the success of this film will encourage more people to read (I am a teacher lol) and explore the the comic book in order to get a better feel of the character and Wakanda in general. Please don't only rely on the visual/audio stimulation tht a movie can bring, remember a movie can't touch on everything like the primary source can. Plus let's remeber that...
" READING IS FUNDAMENTAL".
