Imagine a world where you are at the center of “The Great Economic Renaissance ".

I in particular feel an excitement and fear as to what the hell this really means to a guy like me. After having earned and mismanaged, consumed but so much enjoyed, millions of dollars of hard earned money selling real estate, I am yet broke at the ripe age of 63. I made all the right moves and all the wrong choices. This revolution is what I need. It's what all of us need. It's not a reset button but rather a natural migration away from corruption towards honesty. The honesty is in the block chain ...
When Hamlet asks the question “to be or not to be ...” he is then asking about death. The question today is about as deep and important. To be in the crypto world or not to be ... that should now be your question and yes should be your answer.
For centuries, the top 1% has enjoyed ownership of banks, industries and government. They have controlled and manipulated currency and its value. They have impacted your ability to earn a living and create wealth. They create money out of thin air and then charge you interest and bind you to lifelong long credit commitments. They even rate your ability to repay thereby throttling your access to cash and credit. It has worked pretty well for them. They run the world. Centralized economic models keep data, facts, power and influence centralized and for all practical purposes, secret. The creation of crypto currencies is based on an exact opposite model … they are based on a de-centralized model, a distributive economic model where each and every transaction is on a shared open ledger and value is based on what is important to you. Now, things are different.
We, the people, from homeless to blue collar to white collar... have access to a new economy. It's going to take time and knowledge to wrap your head around it. Once you get it, you will understand the opportunity. It's like discovering the atom, the byte, and the gene all rolled into one. Actually, crypto currency is based on the mathematical mechanics of these three concepts and their real world application as a digital currency.
In my not so unique case, my question is not whether I am in or out ... I am jumping in starting with pennies and a few dollars. I ask myself how am I going to make up for all those years of overspending, procrastination and simply lack of good financial planning. Some would say I deserve it and feel a frugal life of minimalism is my sentence. However, I owe my wife and children, otherwise known as my substance and love, something better. After all, we only live twice. I now have a chance to do it again. Maybe I have learned something in the interim. That lesson is to adapt and adapt now. Open up my eyes and mind to new ways of thinking about the world, and my ability to enjoy it and prosper.
This brief moment in time is but another sunny, partly cloudy day filled with opportunity and pie in the sky. The difference is you can now own a piece of that cloud. And, you can download a piece of the pie. Yup, any flavor you want anytime you want it.
From Bitcoin to Monera to Ethereum to Litecoin to more than one thousand “Initial Coin Offerings” ... a new way of getting paid and creating wealth has arrived ... and the banks, Wall Street and governments are terrified. The stranglehold they have enjoyed over the masses, and benefits they derive from that servitude might soon be coming to an end.
The opportunity lies in understanding, investing and utilizing these new currencies now. Most will fail. Some, certainly not all, will see their values grow exponentially. When you add the concept of compound interest ... values will grow 10x, 1000x, 1000000x ... all possible given the fact that this new economy is now available to billions of people around the world. 99% of them are poor, uneducated and struggling to feed their kids, house their parents and enjoy the sometimes brief pleasures of sunshine.
