This lunchtime i spent an hour and an half speaking to @exyle over video chat on appear.in about OBS customizing and giving him advice on the equipment that he needed to make his streaming more effficient.
This is the kind of stuff that i live for, working and being paid on the blockchain, everything is content, everything is storytelling, everything closes the loop on value — he get’s advice from someone quickly on solutions he need, i can get paid quickly with no fees either side and our time is potentially accountable on the blockchain.
We could have streamed that publically on the dlive platform which would have become a blog post on whoever started the stream thus also making us potential income from our network and with the steem power we have accumulated on the account.

But aside from the notion of ‘money’ something was much bigger at play, we were connected together because of the blockchain existing — he had trust that i was competent in the services and skills that he needed.
So much business and work i have done in the past has been about working inside or around of constraints, things that made the objective of delivery different or problematic, in fact in that world i used to price jobs more because i knew i had to encounter potential issues EDUCATING the client.
With blockchain we will be able to narrow things down and laser focus on the areas we want, we will connect direct to the supplier of the content, skill, talent and eventually AI will be able to be suggestive as to who to follow based on a characteristic model of you as a blogger or media maker on a blockchain.
My hourly rate for OBS consulting is $25 and i was paid 9 SBD (with the rate right now) for my time in the video chat — imagine if you could consult on a blockchain across the world from anywhere you had an internet connection and you can see what kind of work we will be doing in the years to come.
