rLoop
The entire world has been evolving at an exponential rate as technology continues to develop. About 10 years ago we saw the first use case of blockchain technology with Bitcoin, and over time we have begun to see new use cases of how this incredible tech can be used and implemented to democratize different organizations. rLoop was born on Reddit in summer 2015 when Elon Musk and SpaceX announced a global Hyperloop competition in the SpaceX subreddit (https://www.businessinsider.com/rloop-pod-designed-by-strangers-from-reddit-2016-5). Today, the community has grown to over 1,300 engineers from more than 50 countries. rLoop won the SpaceX Hyperloop Innovation Award where they developed pods capable of traveling at 700+ mph. Other Projects on the rLoop Network are rBridge (engineering concept to reality) and rFlight (personal flying device). By incorporating blockchain into the project, they are able to delegate the power of innovation to the individual by establishing a global economy through the rLoop Network.
The Platform
The way that the ecosystem will be conducted through rLoop will be pretty revolutionary. They’ll be using what’s called a DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) to power the rLoop Network. In the past, the organization just used Slack to communicate, and will continue to do so, but by incorporating a DAO, it will enable individuals to have a reputation system and allow the community to collaborate seamlessly. The individuals functioning on the ecosystem will be able to vote on different tasks, proposals, and innovative ideas, or ideas for the Hyperloop (rPod), rBridge, and rFlight. On top of this, users will also be able to bring about new ideas to innovate and make their “dream a reality”, and can be given tokens from the reserve to actually enable them to build the project they dream of. This type of technology brings about a new type of ecosystem, and will allow the world to be interconnected!
