0x's development team managed to raise up close to $24 million USD over the initial coin offering that took place for two days in August, the team reports that there were around 12,000 contributors. Some of the biggest venture capital firms that got intrigued by this project included FBG Capital, Jen Advisors, Pantera Capital, Blockchain Capital, and Polychain capital.
Currently, the only way how anyone could exchange their ERC20 standard tokens is whenever any private exchange lists them on their platform, this essentially working against the decentralized ecology that the blockchain technology is trying to build and 0x's team is working to change that.
