Hi to all, this is Coin Girl. In the past few months, I have been quite absent and the reason behind this was getting a new position at a great blockchain startup.
This startup is called Aventus Protocol Foundation (https://aventus.io/) and its aim is to resolve the current issues within the ticketing industry (touting, counterfeit, fraud) through a blockchain solution.
The protocol gives right holders control over the ticket, to define rules and track it through the supply-chain.
Players in the Aventus ecosystem
- Event organisers
- Promoters
- Venues
- Ticketing agencies
- Artists/Management/Sport clubs /Live entertainment
Since I joined the company I have learned so much more about the blockchain/crypto space but also about the live entertainment challenges.
I have also learned that the crypto space is a very demanding space and we need to let people know what we are doing here.
The announcement
Today, Aventus Protocol has been deployed to the Ethereum MainNet, after being audited by a well-known third party called Solidified (https://solidified.io/). their 150+ community of Solidity experts has previously audited over 40 companies (including Polymath, Melonport, Bankera and Spring Role), securing over 30,000 ETH.
The audit showed NO critical issues and minimal major and minimal issues, however, the latter ones were flagged in regards to design.
More info can be found on the official Aventus blog where the CTO, Andy Grant, talks about it in more detail: https://blog.aventus.io/aventus-protocol-deployed-to-ethereum-mainnet-completes-code-audit-with-no-critical-errors-9b397fbbaff2
