The network had at the time of its invention in 2009, received backlashes that could have reduced its significance. Through perseverance and support from the few investors that saw its potentials, it was able to scale through the challenges and became an enigma in the digital space.
Now, blockchain is applicable in different industries, including finance and supply chain management. Currently, TRONscratch is on a mission to create another use case for the robust network. This time, we would be looking at the application in the gaming industry.
A Decentralization Gaming Platform
As you may have known, the overall formulation of blockchain is to establish trustless transactions. That is hinged on the decentralized policy that seeks to establish transactions between or among parties without any intermediary.
The TRONscratch blockchain also used the same structure to create a dynamic and robust gaming platform on the blockchain. The idea is to create an enabling environment where players would play games on the platform with the possibility of generating some income in the process.

The first feature of this project is peer transaction. Through blockchain, TRONscratch allows players to gamble on a player vs player basis. Hence, the platform wouldn’t be the custodian of any amount placed on bet nor any jackpot won in the course of the PvP gambling.
Through consistent use, it hopes to attain the status of the most prominent peer gambling platform that uses cryptocurrency and blockchain for transactions.
The Gaming Platform
Players are allowed to play games on the built-in gaming platform that is compatible with web browsers. We’re looking at the TRONscratch Decentralized Application, which is a web browser-based decentralized gaming platform that allows players to game from their mobile phones.
Available Games
The gaming platform debuts two games, for now – more would be added in the future. These are the ROCK PAPER SCISSORS and the TIC TAC TOE games. Below are their highlights.
ROCK PAPER SCISSORS
It’s worth mentioning that the name of this game was formed from the three (3) shapes that are used in the course of playing that. In that instance, we’re referring to the Rock shape, which is signified with a closed, the Paper that is represented by a flat hand, and the Scissors that is represented by the combination of the fist alongside the index and middle fingers that culminate to the formation of the V shape.
Playing the game is simple. For instance, a player that chose to play Rock would have to beat another that chose Scissors. That is because the game stipulated that Rock would crush Scissors.
Generally, ROCK PAPER SCISSORS has two outcomes. Players either win the game, or it ends up in a draw.
The TIC TAC TOE Game
This type of game is formulated in a way that the players would have to place their marks to fill up the 3x3 grid in the game. It is a paper-and-pencil, which stipulates that places would try their best to put their marks on the vertical, horizontal, and diagonal rows. Any player that succeeded in achieving this becomes the winner.
Final Words
Blockchain is continually evolving, and TRONscratch is one of the projects that have feasible structures to make it applicable in many scenarios. The decentralized model and peer gaming outlook are an excellent way to reposition the gambling industry for the better.
