The EASY way:
Step 1. Buy a Chibi (on the left most tab next to the HOME button on top of the screen).
Step 2. Buy ETHCrystals (on the tab that looks like a purple crystal next to the chest).
Step 3. Start playing with your Chibi! Well, that came out wrong.
Step 3.a. Deduce your ETHCrystals into ETHShards and start looking for someone to battle!
Step 3.b. Use an ETHCrystal to open the Ether Chest which contains generous amounts of consumables (somewhat potions), gems, coins, and unique items needed for ease of gameplay.
Step 4. Swap the collected ETHCrystals for real ETH.

For those new to the franchise, Daily tasks provide an easy option to earn ETH (Ethereum) via completing the listed objectives which refreshes every 24 hours as indicated below the interphase. Amount of gems depends on the difficulty in finishing a particular task. Take for example these fusions which rake in more gems versus coin battles as the latter requires more kaching and elbow grease.
