Xerox has won the approval of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for its filing to patent a blockchain-based auditing system to record modifications made to electronic documents, Cointelegraph reported.
According to Cointelegraph, Xerox harbours the belief that its patented auditing system can be used in diverse industries- medical, finance and education, just to name a few.
