What will the cryptocurrencies do in 2018? The questioners are all the traders who in recent months have trusted Bitcoin & Co., and that these days are also thinking about whether or not to enter new positions on virtual currencies, or whether to exit from the current ones.
Well, even if providing a timely answer to the question at the beginning of our post will not be simple, we can for now refer to what was established by a survey conducted by LendEDU at the end of November 2017, according to which 77 percent of the sample claimed that the price Bitcoin will increase faster and faster in the next year compared to its appreciation in 2017. In short, the majority of American Bitcoin investors are optimistic that Bitcoin will step even better in 2018.
Among the other opinions that emerged from the survey, the fact that most investors prefer bitcoin employment (also) due to its decentralized nature, thus taking a contrary view on the possible implementation of further regulations on the digital currency in the course of next year.
"We have found that the plurality of Bitcoin investors does not want further regulation in 2018. However, we have assessed how interesting the fact that 20% of our respondents do not clearly refuse an increase in regulation" - say by LendeEDU.
When asked whether investors will invest more in the cryptocurrency, it emerged that almost 75% of respondents said they wanted to increase the size of their investments in Bitcoin in 2018, while less than 10% said they had no intention of proceeding in further uses. Among the other feedback requested, about 31.5% say that they will sell some investments in bitcoins next year, while 40% say they do not want to sell their cryptocurrencies,, while 28.5% say they are not sure yet on what to do.
It is also important to note that about 51% of respondents said they are planning to make at least one physical purchase using their digital currency, while 30% are still not sure whether they will use it in their purchases or not. The question then whether or not you prefer more regulations on Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market in general, about 50% of participants said they were not in favor of additional laws, while just over 30% expressed willingness to adopt more regulations.
