One of the most important parts of #MetaHash economic foundation is forging. Moreover, we offer such a beneficial option as delegation, the way to earn #MHC without much effort and a waste of resources. Let’s remember what it is and how to use this function.
Address holders may delegate their coins to their trusted nodes and still receive forging rewards (by the way, rewards do not depend on trusted node level). Sounds promising, isn’t it? During delegation, a technical transaction occurs: сoins are frozen for the delegation period and cannot be transmitted to another address or delegated to another node until the delegation is canceled. Therefore coins can be delegated once again only after the cancellation of the delegation. Be aware: Delegation acts are canceled once every 24 hours during the next role reassignment operation.
If coins were delegated to a “bad” node that has been detected as a suspicious or malicious one, this delegation act is canceled automatically. After that, all coins are frozen for 10 days to exclude the possibility of any transfers or redelegation. Don’t worry — coins remain in the ownership of their holder, they just are unavailable for any actions during the next 10 days.
During testing, many users wondering about dealing with coins not involved in forging (remember that only 100 #MHC can participate in forging from one purse). So, our answer — delegation is the best way to prevent idle assets.
To test this option yourself, just follow these steps:
First of all, open #Metagate;
Then, go to the #MetaForging app;
Choose “Coin Delegation Forging”;
