Voxelx is a decentralized platform that is after the welfare of its community and because of that, makes the platform a place where medical practitioners especially radiologists, can learn from each other through information that has been revalidated which they can share either publicly or privately and still earn from it thereby improving and expanding the platform’s community. The community is divided into learners, publishers, and validators according to users' interests and these enable them to communicate either in private or publicly.
Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine(DICOM) is standard for the storage and transmission of medical images that enables the input of medical imaging devices from multiple manufacturers.
The platform uses an ethereum based token, GRAY, to finance the expansion of the DICOM-platform through the contents. The GRAY token is used to incentivize users for their invaluable contributions towards the growth and expansion of the platform. The name of the token was given after a physicist, Louis Harold Gray, who the gray unit used for measuring the absorbed dose of ionizing radiation, was named after.
The stages of Voxelx maturity starts with developing ideas, then the ‘ incentivization' of publishers, which leads to a global recognition and profitability.

The drawing tools comes in different types, sizes and configurations.
A user who teaches, can use the platform to upgrade his files for teaching/lecturing. The auto recognition feature plays the role of connecting similar anatomical structures to the correct source of knowledge where easy accessibility is guaranteed for the user.
The tool executes features like social networking among users, mode of presenting lectures, mobile device mode, mulititouch capability, discussing a case online, and a system that aids fast notes.
