Before heading to Day 3 of CeBIT - here my personal highlight of Day 2. I finally could catch-up with two Blockchain companies which was rather interesting. They tried to explain me a bit about Blockchain and all these de-centralized opportunities and challenges the society might face which I will share in a later post after the show.
Bitwala and faizod are both German companies focusing purely on blockchain solutions. While faizod is an expert for blockchain in the industrial segment, Bitwala covers financial transaction.
Bitwala has launched the world’s leading Bitcoin prepaid card which you can top with bitcoin and a lot other altcoins including steem. For now you can pay everywhere with the card where they accept VISA. Feel free to check their steemit account here @teambitwala and how it works - they wrote a post about it some months ago - but we need to get them more active here again. They also plan to launch their own bank account which enable you also to top the prepaid card with FIAT currency.
faizod is a still relatively small company operating from Dresden and act as solution and service provider for the Blockchain technology. faizod helps companies of various sizes and sectors pharmaceutical industry, medical technology, logistics, and various other supply chains) - mainly the sectors subject to high regulation and control.
At CeBIT there are obviously other BIG TECH players like IBM also involved in Blockchain but did not find anyone that was as deep into that topic as the great staff of the two companies above. I am now a even stronger believer into Blockchain and especially Steem! I learned also that Steem has a much better background compared to DASH which @good-karma recently outlined. Not to mention they way DASH launched and the mystery of the instamine. I am pretty sure Steem has a bright future while I doubt DASH has. DASH has a perfect marketing machine - that is it. I might be wrong but I hope Steem will soon pick up some heavy Marketing Campaigns - I am ready!
