Mr. Emmer from Minnesota had an amazing quote, "Right now this system gives advantage to the individual and not to the government, and I'm worried about giving advantage to the government and taking away liberty from the individual."
Of course you also had a clown like Mr. Sherman from California who either didn't do his homework before he showed up to the meeting, or is clearly in bed with the financial industry who is threatened by the massive benefit cryptocurrencies bring to society as a whole, and how it's going to take away their business over time. He continued to make me laugh as he repeatedly stated that all cryptocurrencies are good for are a few dozen men in his district who sit on their couches in their pajamas all day and tell their wives they're going to be millionaires. HA!
