We all know the platform called Instagram. Since 2010, it's been a free social networking application for sharing photos and videos. Instagram did not generate any revenue until 2013 when it proposed revenue through advertising in its business model. Nowadays, sponsored posts are very popular among the users, especially Instagram influencers. People that have at least more than 3000 followers can get a collaboration and become sponsored by a brand.
However, with the rise of the blockchain technology, there is a question “How would Instagram look like in the blockchain technology?’. In my opinion, with the blockchain, there will be more people rewarded for posting their content. It will give an opportunity to people with few followers be rewarded for what they create, and in my opinion, it is great. The reward system can be done in a way of brand collaboration, token system or increasing popularity among the network.
Moreover, that new generation platform will avoid users tracking and data gathering to increase personal security.
