Who knew Billy Idol was quite the prophet? Oh..and if you know the song, it'll be stuck in your head for the next three days...you're welcome. Anyways...here's the big question:
Do you ever wish that there was that great big “reset” button that would allow you start all over again?
Well, there’s good news and bad news. Allow me to start off with the bad news…
...there is no “reset” button for the things you CANNOT control (like life itself). The good news is you can reset the things you have control over.
A prime example: let’s say you started on a project that would serve as the centerpiece of an online business you’re trying to create. But then “something better” comes along and you abandon ship on the entire idea.
This “something better” promises you this and that in the quickest amount of time possible. But it doesn’t happen.
It’s called “shiny object syndrome. And I along with so many others of it have suffered from it.
For some...maybe multiple times. No matter what, there’s no shame in admitting that such a thing happened.
If you (or someone you know) that has felt guilty of not finishing what was started because of that “bigger, shinier object”....
...maybe you were considering the idea of starting something, and suddenly you dropped everything before you even laid the foundation?
Either way, you’re in control to determine whether you hit the reset button or not.
Do it or don’t...the choice is yours.
The Tilsley has spoken.
P.S.--Unless you lived under a rock for the last year and a half, I’ve done this awesome thing called copywriting. Soon, I’ll be sharing with you some of my juicy nuggets from my own angle of things. If you already know this little tidbit about me, everything I’ll be sharing you may have already heard about. Or have you?
Anyways, those sweet bits will be shared in due time via posts like this and even Live (gasp!) video feeds. If this is of any interest to you...even if you don’t do business or not...you might want to keep your eyes peeled.
P.P.S--This is probably something I should have done maybe a year ago as I got started. But as I said earlier, it’s never too late to hit the reset button.
