TV has always been my kryptonite and spinach.
A fitting distraction for someone whose mind is on hyper-drive (sitting still doing nothing is no fun). I could watch 'almost' anything (hope you noticed the emphasis because there's some plain crappy stuff). Smart phones and social media wasn't a thing back when. Just look at the kind of telephones I met! 😂
A rotary dial telephone.
So yeah, I did play outdoors during the day.
There's this saying about sleeping 8 hours a day and spending 1/3 of your life asleep. Well doesn't apply when you've spent more time in front of a screen than asleep. Didn't cause problems with school as a kid though (high cognitive function), but knowing what I do now, wouldn't totally recommend it. Sure like most kids I had an early bedtime, maybe in my head I was like some good cartoons are on now so have to go and watch. So sneak out of bed, turn the volume down and sit right in front of the TV so no one hears the sound. I could probably plan a successful heist with all the little details that went into pulling this off.
Ocean's 11
The upside is my crazy sleep pattern was great in college as I could do whatever I like daytime and study at night (no I'm not a bad friend.. hahaha).
Where am I going with this?
As you should know 'Winter is here': Game of Thrones season 7 premieres in two days!
It's right up there as one of the top shows I'm watching and can't wait to see if the directors did it any justice.
My favorite character isn't Snow or Daenerys....
This is just me writing about what I like!
