The Art of Motherhood!
Ahh, Motherhood! Is it really an art? Well, it I were to base it to how I transform into different personas while keeping my sanity, then I'd say, IT IS!
Almost 9 years in and I still face roadblocks. Everyday is different, testing my limits. Juggling between full time work and home, I just cannot help but snap my patience from time to time... errr, all the time.
Raising little humans so become great people is no joke.
You have to be constantly on guard, make sure to set good examples and not deviate from your own rules.

"Mommy, did you just say S-H-I-T?" Holy cow! Did I? I guess I did, since my eldest son was policing me. So I heard a mouthful from him, "Mommy, don't say bad words. You see, Janjan and Gabbie may copy you..."
Ahhmmm... sorry, Anak! Or have you just become my Tatay (father)?
Oh well, at least I know that he has kept that virtue in-tact already. Or...
"Mommy, don't say it aloud. Only in your mind!"

If only I can switch places with you when you are in pain... My heart crushes when I hear you cry, "Mommy! Mommy!" and I cannot do anything.
Here, let me hug you and kiss your pain away...
I will watch you as you sleep and make sure everything will be okay...

For eating chocolates? For making mess? For spilling the juice or breaking the plate?
Mommy is but human too. She can get angry or lose her patience.
Keeping cool while dealing with energetic and wild kiddos is a test. I am on the road to getting bottomless patience, wherever it could be found.

Why too much questions, baby?! Seriously! How do I keep up with the unending questions?
Mommy, how many countries are there again in the world?
Mommy, why do the leaves fall during winter? How long will the trees last without food?
