Tomorrow a bad period in Holland ends for another year. The Sinterklaas feast, which in fact is a children's party, is being destroyed by adults making war over a blackfaced figure called black Piet.
Screaming, shouting, fighting, not listening to eachother, it's sickening.
I'm not going to explain why "zwarte Piet" isn't racist, I believe you are smart enough to find out for yourselves how the story really is.
I'm not going to explain what blackfacing actually is and that in no way, it is a way to mock black people, you can find that out if you wish to.
The problem is that people don't want to search for it, because the truth will kill their arguments. People are blinded by a system that told them for years and years how to think, how to speak, how to act, what truth is and what is not. But the most annoying thing is that the ones claiming the truth, are lying the most.
