I wasn't really A fan of the 1st gen Tesla roadster but after seeing pics of the 2020 version I've officially jumped on the bandwagon. This car is so hot the lines are so sexy and it has one of my favorite aspects of an electric car, its eco-friendly.
Specs
The Baseline Model of the 2020 Tesla roadster is said to have a 0-60 time of 1.9 seconds. Yes you heard that correctly 0-60 in 1.9 seconds. Its 0-100 is done in 4.2 seconds and does a quarter mile in under 9 seconds. Elon Musk didn't disclose the Top speed of this car but did mention that it was above 250 MPH. This car is blazingly fast and if nothing comes along that can do a 0-60 in under 1.9 by the year 2020 it will be the worlds fastest production car.
Oh ya this car also has 7,375 ft/lbs of torque which is insane
All that speed is nice and dandy but it won't be much of anything if you don't have the range to truly enjoy it. Range is usually one of the downfalls of electric vehicles but not with the 2020 Tesla Roadster. This car will have twice the power of the P100d with 200 kWh of juice and Its range will be about 600 miles or 1000 kilometers.

Compared To Rollercoasters
For the Comparison I've decided to compare it to rollercoasters rather than other super/hyper cars since most people have ridden a roller coaster at least once in their life and would understand the amount of G forces one would experience in this car.
The Xcelerator ride at Knotts Berry Farm in Southern California is one of my favorite roller coasters. The launch at the beginning of the ride violently throws you into the back of the seat and keeps you glued there for a few seconds. It does a 0-82mph launch in 2.3 seconds or 15.9 meters per second(1.6G). Those numbers earn it 7th place on Coasterpedias Fastest Launching Rollercoasters.
The 2020 Tesla Roadster with its 0-60 time of 1.9 seconds or 14.1 m/sec (1.4G)would earn itself the 9th Place on that list Just barely beating the 14 m/sec Atlantis Adventure @ lotte World in South Korea.
Even though the Tesla is far short of the 1st place Do-Dodonpa ride @ Fuji-Q Highland Park in Japan with its insane 0-112mph time of 1.8 seconds or 32.1 m/sec (3.27G) it still earned itself rollercoaster status being that it would be in the Top Ten if it were actually a rollercoaster.
So if you have 200,000 and a nice straight away you can pretty much buy your very own rollercoaster.
