I only keep a year's worth of work at a time in Lightroom and compress and back up everything else to an external drive. I also never throw a raw file away so there's always a time in January where I have to claw back a bit of live disk space, tidy things up and get ready for another year. It's also a good time to look back on what I've done and assess where I'm going for next year. Without further ado then these are my favourite photos of 2019 - it was very hard to whittle them down (and some of them I might have posted before) but hopefully you'll enjoy looking at them as much as I did taking them.

Christmas & Winter again
After looking back on these feel the urge to get out more and capture more of the British landscape as I feel I've fallen a bit short in that respect. So my New Year's photographic resolution is to get out and find some interesting places to shoot and post more on Steemit. Watch this space to see if I succeed!
Happy 2019 everyone!
