The tendency to decrease has been maintained for 12 consecutive quarters, which is an anti-record for all giants of the market. Most companies stop updating and releasing new models, focusing on smartphones, PCs and laptops.
The leader of the market is Apple - 25.8%. Samsung lags behind, but retains 15% of the market, but this is less by 7.9% compared to last year. The company is the only one who lost his position, while Apple increased 11.4%.
Amazon is fixed in this segment and placed in third place with 10.9%. They have grown significantly, by as much as 38.7% since last year - the loyal price policy of the company is affecting. Huawei (7.5%) dropped one position and is almost equal with Lenovo (7.4%).
According to the IDC report, the market for tablet PCs with attached keyboards is growing more slowly than expected. The only significant players were only Apple and Microsoft, while other manufacturers are betting on "laptop-transformers."
