it's been almost a week since it started raining heavily here in the northern Luzon of the Philippines. Most provinces now issued state of calamity due to the consistent raining, flooding most of villages in northern Luzon. Many families are now suffering from the flood. Flood levels are over 6 feet in some locations.
It tells that Bataan province are already flooded over 6ft.
This is Marikina river that is close on my location. If the flood goes over this river, may household will be affected including mine.
Even the expressway here are not safe anymore.
On my way back, I learned that the way to my previous apartment are not accessible anymore due to being flooded. I can say that I made a good decision moving in to a better location even though my expenses increases, but my problem isn't over yet. If these raining doesn't stop, my work will be affected. It will be difficult for everyone here to travel if the flood increases. Although my location is quite safe, it will be difficult for me to buy the things I need if things goes for worst.
Update:
Marikina City is under the state of calamity. I decided not to go to work today, as I fear of getting stranded on my way to work or way back home. My body is also having a fever right now. It's best that for me to rest for now.
Please take time to read. Thank you!
