I'm writing this simply to let those of you whom I love to interact with here on Steemit know that I'm taking a small break from the platform. After my Easter break, I haven't enjoyed the platform as much. With everything else I have going on right now, like writing a thesis, taking care of my family and starting a business, I don't want to spend my time on things I don't enjoy. I will miss sharing Your Daily Verse with you, but I have plans to start that up on my facebook page soon. If you are on facebook I'd love for you to come join me.
I've been praying over this for a while. Actually, Easter was like a test run to see what life would be without Steemit. The result? A lot calmer with one less thing on my plate. I don't know if or when I will return. I might pop in with an update every now and then. I will miss you guys for sure.

This verse is what spurs me on to continue working and which prompts me to frequently reassess the things I do. Being on Steemit was turning into something I was doing for man and not the Lord, so at least for a while I feel led to step back from it. I have not decided if I'm going to stop reading and commenting. Only that I won't be posting for a while.
