Wine is a taboo element in many sacred civilizations. Numerous rituals and rites have traditionally been associated with its use. Just as alcohol is forbidden for the outside, and allowed for the internal, so Sharia people have access only to the shell of truth, and people tarikata to herself.
Wine is not only a symbol, an allegory. Tradition is all connected with each other. If something remains with something else in the relationship, it means that these things are also related in a practical way. In other words, if alcohol is a synonym for initiation, it means that the action it causes on man should initiate a journey of initiation. Drinking is a path, a path to the interior.
Naturally, simple getting drunk does not necessarily guarantee the achievement of the truth. It is only a path to it. And like any path, it can be auspicious, but it can also end in nothing.
