I was notified earlier today by @hivebuzz that it has been seven years since I joined the blockchain! What a time it has been, too. Crypto price rollercoaster ups and downs, factionalism drama, the Hard Fork from Steemit to HIVE, flag wars, and more have made it an interesting adventure.
I first joined because the idea of a censorship-resistant blog appealed to me, but I assumed like so many crypto projects, it would probably flame out after the initial hype, and fizzle away within a few years. Well, here I am, still plugging along. And the platform remains robust thanks to community involvement, The platform ain't perfect, but it's ours.
