Here we are again, the end of March by my time zone but already the start of April according to UTC. We are still dealing with the aftermath of "two weeks to flatten the curve" of COVID three years later, but we have also just celebrated the 3rd anniversary of HIVE forking away from Steemit.

Did we choose the right path, though? I think it's time to re-evaluate the whole community split. Justin Sun was just doing what he thought was best for the platform, and we need to cut him some slack even if he might have gone a bit overboard in the process. I'll be selling off my HIVE holdings and doubling down on STEEM! And if you believe that, you are not prepared for what the internet will bring us tomorrow..... er, today.... Or some time ago if you're not reading this in a timely fashion. Whatever.

I didn't write much in March. I just didn't feel the inspiration. I was also distracted by other stuff, some fun and some less so. Here's a rundown since the last monthly update.
I added Part 4 to my irregular series of thoughts on knowledge, certainty, and current events. I have some ideas and a draft or two for more installments, but there is no telling when I will try to make anything semi-coherent enough to post a part 5.
Posting Bail was a tongue-in-cheek title for another jewelry-making post. It's a bad pun, but according to an inebriated patron, I'm a library comedian!
I joined the Monomad Challenge with a look at Spokane Streets.
There were St. Patrick's Day misadventures and some shameless Bitcoin faucet hype.
I grumbled about the New Warhammer 40,000 announcement.
And most recently, I rambled about my unfashionable thoughts on fashion.
That's it. Not even 10 posts for the month. Oh. well. It looks like I was just awarded my Hive Power Up Day and Power Up Month badges while I was composing this post though, so that counts as a victory! If you are reading this in time, before midnight on April 1st according to UTC, power up at least 10 HIVE to earn a badge for yourself, too!

I don't have any grandiose plans for April. The inspiration to write hasn't really returned. Perhaps the emergence of spring flowers and more outdoor opportunities will lead to something worth posting, but it will be intermittent for the foreseeable future. I'm still coping with library censorship stress, the ever-present threat of family drama, and personal health concerns.
I think I am overdue for a vacation. It's still cold here in the northwestern US, but it's been many years since I last visited the coast. Maybe I should visit before the hooligans are let out of school for the summer? It looks so peaceful...
