October saw some big changes on PeakD with the addition of a new Snaps short-form post system and integration of other such posts from other platforms, not to mention the various behind-the-scenes updates and fixes. Market prices may be stagnant, but the devs aren't!
Anywhoodle, here we are at the start of a new month. That means it's Hive Power Up Day! I'll be staking 100 HP as usual, but if you can power up anything at all, you're part of the celebration. If you power up 10 or more HIVE, @hivebuzz will also give you a personal badge!
I've also experimented with @commentrewarder's project. Setting that account as beneficiary notifies a bot that tracks replies I upvote, and it distributes its share of the post rewards to comments I upvote. It's a neat idea to reward engagement a bit extra.

- Imperial Squatch: An Amateurish Beer Review, what it says on the tin.
- Cool Creator Spotlight: Forgotten Weapons, a channel covering historic weapons, experimental prototypes, and just plain weird firearm designs.
- Happy October Leo PUD! I rejoined the LEO Power Up Day after a long hiatus.
- Catching my breath, a preview of my subsequent travel posts.
- Tales From the Road: Wrong Turns, where I decide to enjoy going the wrong way and see what I might see. I got some interesting photos.

- Happy Halloween! Pumpkin painting and costume comments.
That looks like 16 posts for the month, so roughly every other day on average. I'm happy with that pace, particularly now that Snaps seem to be a good outlet for ideas between proper posts.

As for November, who knows? I'm looking forward to the end of election season at least, even if either outcome adds trepidation. If Trump wins, maybe there will be more "mostly peaceful" protests with arson, vandalism, and assault. But probably not. If Harris wins, there could be some kind of misguided protest and violence, too, but I think that's even less likely, absent agents provocateur. But that's not outside the realm of possibility.
In any case, I already have a scheduled Three Tune Tuesday post. Beyond that, it's hard to say what to expect. I just want to find whoever cursed us with, "may you live in interesting times," and kick them hard in the groin.
