In the midst of chaos, God speaks with a gentle whisper. In this painting, the Psalmist is in a noisy situation, and at this moment, David is hidden in a defensive posture, seeking protection and refuge.
When David says, "My hiding place," God is always there. When everything gets out of control, God is also our refuge. He is also saying that God is a shield. This means that we are NOT alone; God protects us at all times as we continue day by day.
Here, we also see a very important aspect in which we have the responsibility: "I have hoped in your word." Hope must be placed in God and not in what we can see or think. It is our decision to trust in God.

En medio del caos, Dios habla con suave susurro, en este cuadro el Salmista está en una situación ruidosa y en este momento David está oculto en actitud de defensa en busca de protección y refugio.
Cuando David dice: "Mi escondedero" Dios está en todo momento y lugar, cuando todo se torna en descontrol Dios es también nuestro refugio. También está diciendo que Dios es un escudo, esto significa que "NO" estamos solos, Dios nos protege en todo momento mientras seguimos día a día.
Aquí vemos también una parte muy importante en la que nosotros tenemos la responsabilidad, "En tu palabra he esperado", La esperanza debe estar puesta en Dios y no en lo que podemos ver o pensar, es nuestra la decisión de confiar en Dios.
