Everyday we are looking for all kind of information from different sources - google, friends, family, etc. The main driving factor for this is filling the gaps in our knowledge. Other times it is simply because we are sad, bored and due to all kind of feelings and emotions.
We want to turn the negative into positive, to be more successful in current project, to remind ourselves what we already forgot.
When looking for information doing this we are considering
- what is the value of the received information, how it can help me success in short and long term in terms of increased efficiency, income, health? So in general our well being.
- how much time I should spend to be good in this, does it pays off the efforts to go deeper into this topic?
- do I have enough time to go deeper in this subject?
Nowadays it is getting harder and harder to get valuable information from the web sources as the quality of the materials is deteriorating.
Most of the authors are writing a lot of text with little useful information.
It is becoming important to find the most efficient way for transferring of information and knowledge. We have to build, promote and learn the proper tools. Each one of us has to place himself in the role of the author and the reader.
