4 days ago or so I made a post that actually upset a lot of users. Guess what. I don't care.
Here are the facts, I am pregnant, the landlord sexually harassed me through text messages, obtained information about my babysitter with out her consent after I rejected him, and when she rejected him and quit her job babysitting halfway through my work week, causing me to have to take a loss of hours and eventually quit my job to make sure my daughter's needs were met, he started threatening acts of violence and threatening to kick me out if I told him my brother, who is the other tenant, was using meth again, which would cause my landlord to have to kick my brother out for doing drugs in the house..
He has admitted that he feels that my husband doesn't do dishes or change diapers.. Which is a lie, he does change diapers and does most of the dishes in the house, whereas I do all of the other chores in the house since Chris has a job.
The landlord chased my dog around the back yard and hit him with a wooden dowel, not because my dog was actually doing anything wrong, but because the landlord "I thought that's how you play with dogs."
He has continued to make threats and advances even though I have told him no numerous times, I do ALL of the house repairs, project planning, home improvement work, on top of still paying rent and taking care of my family's short term needs.
Like I said earlier, he has chased off my babysitter because she refused to date him, and he wouldn't take "No" for an answer, right after I rejected him, and got a job.
Yesterday he was escorted off the property by police officers and served and Order of Protection due to being a housemate and a Landlord who was mentally and psychologically abusing a pregnant woman living in his house (me) he has repeatedly made threats through text, and verbal threats of violence, coincidentally after I, a married woman with a family, said that I would never date him.
At this point, I don't care what you think about me or if you think I am abusing my steemit account by stating facts and posting the video that I posted where he DID start getting verbally aggressive and loud after harassing me when I requested all interaction through text and writing.
2 months ago I said "From this point on all interactions will be recorded through text and all interactions will be kept record of." which he agreed to... He knows and consented to being recorded for his and my protection in the event something spirals out of control. Which is why I DID record this video and post it.
If you honestly think I am a freeloader mooching off my landlord, go ahead. Say it. I stated the facts. I pay rent. I do every chore in the house including taking care of his cat that he abandoned yesterday, and doing all of the remodeling, cleaning, finding new tenants for the garage facing room, cleaning the garage, maintenance and everything I listed above.. Take in account that I have done over $14k in labor for free, minus the fees for the materials, and he is still charging us rent.
I paid rent for this month and he is claiming we didn't, he is spreading lies to my friends about me when I haven't done anything to hurt him or wrong him other than saying no to his creepy advances and asking him not to stare at me like I am eye candy from across the room..
My requests are and have been reasonable. His on the other hand are abusive and downright creepy. I let him down easily the first time, the 2nd, 3rd and 17th times I gradually became more irritated and just said "Just stop" each time, and eventually reported him to the authorities at the police station. I chose not to press charges the first time. This time I am. I am done being treated like this because an adult child didn't get what he wanted on Valentines day..
If anyone is interested in actually helping, or taking action to help, I will be making a separate post with my gofundme campaign.. I have had little to no luck with it in the past, but whatever. Maybe this time will be different some how.
If you are going to comment or take the time out of your day to say something, please don't leave any negative comments. I have had enough of the attacks and abuse from others, and I am just trying to get my family's lives together again and get us to safety. We are currently trying to raise money for an RV so we don't have to deal with this issue again in the future.
Our family is already tired of living life this way and we have all had enough of the constant negativity and warfare of lies and other people's opinionated negative commentary. All I ever asked for was support, I never asked any of you for tips or donations. I never broke any rules or regulations and I am operating lawfully and within my rights.
I have witnessed more aggressive posts where it was a stolen internet meme from 4chan titled "Upvote now please" with no written content other than "funny joke" with 20 upvotes and zero negative comments, whereas I am speaking the truth as I witness it with a video and ask for a little support and I get negativity and victim shaming. I expected more from Steemit. I would hate for this beautiful website community to turn out like facebook. I used to look forward to coming on and doing my daily tarot readings, posting spiritual memes and enjoying the community. I even supported some of you when you felt down in the dumps or had a bad day and posted about it.
This is not me whining and complaining on Steemit, this is me talking about my life and blogging about what is going on in my life. This is my speaking my truth and telling the world who I am authentically and showing the world the challenges I face in life as a real person.
Your negative commentary on on another person's suffering, reflect the true you to the world. Your attacks on a social media platform on a pregnant mother who has been struggling and only asked for support reflect your inner self to the world. I am done being harassed and bullied online and I will not stand for it another day. Make sure that what you have to say to me in the comments holds no intention to harm or discredit my post, since there IS no possible way for you to comprehend the situation with out reading the text messages and knowing my full history, or the history of sexual harassment that this person in the video has behind him.
I shouldn't have to quote multiple Disney cartoons and school teachers and mothers throughout history, but..
"If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all."
