Bitcoin and crypto's are taking a dive. Amidst broader sentiment that crypto is topping out, I'm sure you're all on edge, doubts starting to seep in, hurting a bit from the loss in a month or more of paper profits yet to be realised.
But here's the thing..
If you’re feeling low, it means you can enjoy the climb all over again.
I got on my bike for the first time in a year after spending an hour on bike maintenance and installing new tires and tubes.
Within 10 minutes, I got a flat tire nearly two miles from home.
But it was nice to be alone for a while and just enjoy the sun. I saw a lot more smiling faces on a slow walk home. I talked to a stranger about snowboarding training and learned some things. I talked to some kids about their electric scooters and they recommended one for my son. I talked to two older ladies and learned about their favourite coffee shop in town.
And I never once asked or cared about what they feel about the pandemic.
I told myself, “If I hadn’t been on my bike, it really would have just been a nice walk anyways, so why be upset?”
2020/2021 has been my period to squeeze out all of the lemons in my heart, make lemonade, and then share that lemonade with friends and strangers.
