The exhibition: The machines are called aerobes and float in the air using tiny fans distributed around balloons. They are based on ocean life and mushrooms.

These aerobes float around slowly in the turbine hall as they are controlled by engineers, who were hidden in the corner of the gallery.
This exhibition nicely married technology, art and biology to create a hypnotic piece that had everyone marvelling at it.
