The 130-foot-tall Katski pillar of Georgia was desolate for centuries. Now there is a Christian monk called McGim, who lives alone. It is 130 feet high, straight, pillar-like mountain. The idea of living alone on its peak is scary. But a 63-year-old man has been living here for the past 25 years. He believes that while this dangerously visible mountain is at the peak, he has reached closer to God. He is a Christian monk. His name is Maxim Kvartardze
McGim has been living on 130 feet high 'Katski Pilar' since 1993. They live alone there and fall down only twice a week.
There are 131 foot stairs to get down. It takes 20 minutes to Maxim. The rest of the time, McGim's Followers deliver the goods they need through a Chakariginni.
There is a small cottage on the top of the mountain overlooking the pillars. There is a prayer room in it. Some prists and some disturbed young people occasionally come and pray.
